Why the Ace of Spades?
“I often get asked why I choose the Ace of Spades to represent my business. The story goes something like this:
When I was in college working on my personal branding thesis for my BFA Graphic Design degree, I thought that it would be cool to have a business card that was a playing card. I immediately started thinking about which card I wanted to represent me … a queen? king? ten? diamonds? hearts? I couldn’t decide.
I went out and bought 4-5 different decks of playing cards and went through them all, looking for inspiration. What I noticed in my research was that most of the playing cards looked the same from deck to deck. The only card that was ever unique was the Ace of Spades. It seemed that this was the one card that the printers were allowed to be creative with. That settled it for me. I wanted to be the Ace of Spades - the most unique card in the deck - and Ace of Spades Design was born.
This is an example of the work you can expect from me. I will listen to your ideas, research the project as best I can, and come back to you with comprehensive design ideas that match your personality and business needs.
Here‘s my card. Contact me today!”
